THE LONGEST NIGHT HAS AN END.
The above proverb is equivalent to the Brazilian and Portuguese proverb NÃO HÁ MAL QUE SEMPRE DURE NEM BEM QUE NUNCA ACABE.
Fortunately on the 17th of December 2011, another PUBLIC ENEMY (communist dictator) Kim Jong-il, passed away. As years go by, fewer and fewer communist dictators remain alive. As far as I have learned by reading the news, the number of communist countries also decreases every year, but that does not mean that North Korea will become a free country. Kim Jong-il’s son (Kim Jong-un) has already been appointed as future king of North Korea.
Take a look at the great COMMUNIST MURDERS of History:

Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili (Alias STALIN) (one hell of a butcher)

Mao-Tsé Tung
Mao-Tsé Tung (alias THE GREAT CHINESE PILOT) More lethal than Stalin, pedophile, murderer, “god-father” of Kim il-sung.
Financial and intellectual supporter of Communist insurgencies across Asia—in Burma, Cambodia and elsewhere.
Responsible for the death of tens of millions of Chinese.
The world will never know how many people really died under his command.

Nicolae Ceausescu
Ceausescu's second decade in power was characterized by an increasingly brutal and repressive regime — by some accounts, the most rigidly Stalinist regime in the Soviet bloc. It was also marked by a ubiquitous personality cult, nationalism and a deterioration in foreign relations with the Western powers as well as the Soviet Union. Ceausescu's government was overthrown in the December 1989 revolution, and he and his wife were executed following a televised and hastily organized two-hour court session.

Saloth Sar, alias Pol Pot

and some of his victims.
Saloth Sar (19 May 1925 – 15 April 1998), better known as Pol Pot, was a Cambodian Maoist revolutionary who led the Khmer Rouge from 1963 until his death in 1998. From 1976 to 1979, he served as the Prime Minister of Democratic Kampuchea. Pol Pot became leader of Cambodia on April 17, 1975. During his time in power, he imposed a version of agrarian socialism, forcing urban dwellers to relocate to the countryside to work in collective farms and forced labor projects. The combined effects of forced labor, malnutrition, poor medical care, and executions resulted in the deaths of approximately 21 percent of the Cambodian population. In all, an estimated 2,000,000 to 4,000,000 people died under his leadership. He also led a ruthless and ideologically driven campaign against western culture and capitalism in Cambodia.
The origin of his alias may have been two French words: politique potentielle.
Now make a pause and stupefy yourself: BRAZIL STILL HAS COMMUNIST PARTIES and there is a chance that Porto Alegre may be governed by a communist.
Back to North Korea:
Kim Jong-il inherited the power to reign over North Korea in 1994, when his father, Kim il-sung, who was known as the GREAT LEADER died after governing North Korea for more than four decades. Kim il-sung, the old, and his son, Kim Jong-il, who died on December 17, 2011, presided over hunger and repression for almost 60 years.
Many people in Brazil, most of them leftists, have the nerve (have the nerve means têm a audácia) to say that we had a dictatorship in Brazil from 1964 to 1983. Can you believe that? We were happy and we did not realize how happy we were.
I m not so sure that we will get rid of the plague named COMMUNISM in the near future. Take for example the case of Russia and Putin. Putin is not a trustable leader at all. He, just like the King of Maranhão, has managed to remain in power even after being President of the Republic. Being President was not enough for neither of them. If Putin runs for president in the next presidential elections in Russia, he will be able to manage the results of the polls, under the consent of Medvedev, so that he wins the election to become president of Russia one or two more terms. I, myself, am convinced that Putin has not given up the idea to turn Russia into a communist dictatorship in his next term as president.
I see great similarities between what is going on in Russia and in Brazil. Putin was president during eight years. King Ignatius was also president during two terms of four years each. Putin was then succeeded by Medvedev for another four years. Princess Stella succeeded King Ignatius and will reign for another three years. Whom do you think will run for president when the term of Princess Stella ends? I have no doubts that King Ignatius will run for president again. Possibly, he will be reelected for a fourth term due to his populist way of governing. Exactly as it is going to happen in Russia.
Now returning once more to North Korea: do you know the name of the political party of the recently deceased dictator Kim Jon-il? PARTIDO DOS TRABALHADORES. It is the Korean PT!!!
Can you believe that?
It is simply impossible to be a coincidence, in my humble opinion.
Do you want to see what will happen if King Ignatius does not survive his cancer therapy?
Take a look at what happened in North Korea after the death of Kim Jong-il, and you will find out.

Touching, isn’t it? I, myself, would rather say GOOD RIDDANCE (já vai tarde).
Let us hope that all the remaining communist dictators pass away in 2012. Our world would certainly be a better place to live without communists, just as it is without Nazis.
Both Nazis and communists have already killed too much people in the twentieth century. We certainly do not need these two groups any longer in the twenty first century.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
